Next Adventure: Jewelry Making

As I’ve mentioned before, I sell creations at the collective. I want the shop to be successful, so I’m always open to making items that will sell in an effort to help pay for my “space” at the shop. My goal is to increase foot traffic, which allows all the artists in the shop to gain exposure. What better way to catch a shopper’s eye but with sparkle?

I’m new to jewelry making, but I love costume jewelry. I wear a necklace nearly every day. But I am surprised at how much I enjoy creating new pieces. The infinite variety of beads and designs, how quickly some pieces come together and yet look great… The whole process is relaxing. It clears my mind and keeps me busy. I guess that’s all I could ask for in a new hobby!

Here are some examples of what I have created recently, each for sale in the shop ($10 – $20 each).
